SA stars aim to dive for glory

Five South Australian divers are busy finetuning their skills for the FINA World Junior Diving championships in Kazan, Russia, from November 28 to December 6, 2016.
Matthew Carter will compete in the one metre and three-metre events, Brodie Scapens will line up in the platform, while Ross Todd is on the team for the one metre and platform events for Group A boys (16-18 years). Luke Marshall has been selected in the one metre and platform in the Group B boys (14, 15 years), while Kate Rosman will do battle in the one metre and three-metre competitions in the Group B girls.
Christian Brooker, SASI Assistant Coach will be travelling with the team as part of the coaching support staff.
The SA divers make up one-third of the Australian team which will compete at the state-of-the-art Aquatics Palace. This is a great opportunity for junior athletes to gain valuable international competition experience and challenge the best juniors in the world.
The junior world titles are held every two years and in many cases showcase potential Olympians.
